Some of us are excellent writers who don’t have time to write. Some of us want to write, but something is stopping us from taking the plunge and creating the space and time to sit at the computer (or with a pen and legal pad). And then there are those who find writing painful. For this latter group a one-page memo can take hours, each one of which feels like a lifetime - spent in purgatory. No hope for redemption available! I have something to offer anyone who fits into any of the above categories.
I understand that writing is often an external manifestation of work happening on an internal level. As a writer, I am aware that I often act as a midwife, helping those I work with birth their own unique perspective into concrete words on the page. I can draft passages for you to edit, and it can either be a one-shot deal (I draft it, and give it back to you to finalize) or we can pass it back and forth between us until it is crafted to your satisfaction. I can edit your work, in a very hands-on way or by offering you suggestions. And I can inspire and mentor you, helping identify and clear what is getting in the way of letting the words flow.
My writing work includes:
- Creative/conceptual work,
- Ghost-writing books and articles (specifically in the non-fiction arena),
